Okay, I have finally posted a private residence investigation from back in the summer. If the owners have been looking for the posting, I apologize. I have been very busy the last few months and time just got away from me.

As always, KSH only publishes evidence on the website if the owners have agreed to let the information be published. We continue to conduct private residence investigations as we are contacted for help and I will be publishing evidence from another private investigation just conducted recently very soon.

I Don’t Bother

The owner states that she does not think that April and Granville are impressed by the spirits activity that night. The spirit responds with “I don’t bother” as to say that it was not going to go through any great efforts to let us know that it was there.

Put Down That Light

This is a male voice and it seems to be responding to the presence of our flashlights and it asks that we put down that light. If this is the same spirit that produced the “Michael Carroll” EVP, then that actually could have been an intelligent response though just telling us its name rather than answering a direct question. The voice sounds very similar so we cannot be sure.

Intelligent Response

This wasn’t actually an EVP as we heard it audibly coming from the bedroom that we were in. This was just after April had experienced the feeling of vertigo and she asks if the spirit can do that again and we get a yes in response. The vertigo continued for several minutes.

Michael Carroll

We believe this is also a residual EVP. It says “Michael Carroll”. Through research we have not been able to find any relevance to this name. It is not a name that the owners are familiar with but given the history of the house, it could have been someone who was here at one point and the impression remains.

Not Them Boys

This EVP was captured as April set down a recorder and noted that she was leaving it there. The EVP seems to come from outside the room and it is a female voice that says, “Not them boys.” We have categorized this as residual because it is not in response to anything that was happening at the time or any questions that had been asked.

This Spirit Agrees

This EVP was captured in one of the upstairs bedrooms where it had been noted before that a door has opened and closed on its own while a friend of the couple was staying in that room. One of the owners tells the spirit that she really thought the spirits were going to give us a show and April starts provoking the spirit saying that it is weak and cowardly. Surprisingly, the spirit agrees. Just a couple minutes after this provoking, April gets a feeling of vertigo.

5-19-09. KSH was contacted by a couple in Crab Orchard, KY to conduct a private residence investigation. The couple had noticed strange activity for the entire length of time that they had lived at the residence and were basically curious as to whether or not a spirit was present. There was nothing malicious or disturbing about the activity this was just a case where the couple wanted confirmation or denial of the presence of paranormal activity in the home.

April conducted a brief interview and preliminary with the couple on May 13, 2009 at which point while in the dining room conducting the interview, noises in the form of footsteps, light bangs and a female voice was noted by April and the couple. The spirit(s) inside the house seemed to be wanting to make their presence known.

 The official investigation was conducted on May 19, 2009 with April Todd and Granville Graves present as investigators and the couple in attendance to help with communication to the spirits and information about the property itself. The owners had completely research on the property themselves and had found out that the home had at one point many years ago been a funeral home amongst other businesses.

The investigation was conducted from 8pm to 11:30pm. Shadowy outlines were present at times upstairs as well as a couple clearly audible voices, one of which was caught on a recorder. There was an unexplained high EMF reading in one of the bedrooms that moved about the room and when we returned a second time to verify that it wasn’t something natural, it wasn’t present anymore. April experienced a feeling of vertigo in one of the bedrooms after she did some provoking of the spirits.

Overall, the case was very interesting and the couple that had asked us into their home were wonderful. We captured several EVPs during the session as well as the personal experiences that we had shared along with the couple that were there with us during the investigation. Overall, KSH concludes that there is substantial activity in this home. There seems to be at least one intelligent spirit present and the rest of the activity seems to fall into the category of a residual haunting.
