We had asked for a sign from the spirits that it was time for us to leave. We heard something coming from the woods and you will hear me say, “What was that?” and Granville answer, “I don’t know” and then you will hear the EVP that says, “Get Out”

Play with the Snake
This EVP is really creepy. This was just after Granville had his snake encounter after asking for a sign of the spirits’ presence. I had picked up my recorder that I had stationary on the church steps and Granville, Robin and I were standing in a huddle about ten feet from the steps. I asked Granville and Robin where they wanted to go next and the EVP we caught answers me and says, “To Play With the Snake”

On Saturday, July 5, 2008 April and Granville took Robin on her first investigation. We decided on Soule’s Chapel because we had always had amazing results there and depending on the atmosphere, the things that happen there can make or break an investigator. We arrived just a little before 9pm and seen that there was a man and a woman in the cemetery with us.

I have been interested in the paranormal since I was a child and have a keen and very spiritual psychic intuition. I am not exactly sure how I know things sometimes, I just do. I can sense them or feel them which helps tremendously during investigations because I seem to have a unique connection with spirits and let that intuition guide me and my team and keep us safe along the journey. I have a light and sometimes sarcastic sense of humor and try to keep the mood as light as possible with the team when we are on location. At the same time, I know when we need to be serious and when we need to get things done, which is why I think I make a good leader. I let everyone in my team pretty much have free reign to use their creativity and abilities to the benefit of the team and it works. Our team is strong and has a connection that fits perfectly together and amongst the entities and energies we are seeking.

I am a Certified Paranormal Investigator through Flamel College, one of the best sources for paranormal knowledge and accreditation on the web. I am proud to be Founder of KSH and even more proud to have such a great team of investigators working with me. I could never express enough gratitude for all that you guys do to help!! I work full-time at a hospital and part-time teaching at a college in Danville and have been blessed with many things, the most importantly being my wonderful four year old son. He is my reason for living and breathing and everything I do, every step forward I make is with him in mind and looking back, I want him to be proud of his mother and all the love I have showed him and all the guidance I have and will always continue to give him.

I’ve been interested in paranormal studies since childhood. My brother and I used to pretend to hunt ghosts when we were very young. I am a member of the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomenon, AA-EVP. Paranormal Investigation has been a lifelong dream of mine that has been realized thanks to KSH.

I’ve been married for six years and have three wonderful children. I work in automotive manufacturing at TTAI with my friend, Travis, who I also work with almost exclusively during our investigations. I have been infatuated with the paranormal since I was a child, back in the late 1970’s. In 1978 at the age of 5, I learned of a haunted house….(anyone that lived in the Clearview subdivision, knows which house I’m talking about). It is generally referred to as the ” Erskine Mansion”. As a child, I used to go to this house, and peep in the windows. I noticed, that even though, it was July….there was still Christmas decorations. The banister was still wrapped in garland There was stories of an old woman standing in the upstairs window, pointing a shot gun at anyone that came onto the property.

Travis is an essential part of our team. He works great with Granville so they are usually paired up as a team on investigations. His quick thinking and witty sense of humor make him vital to our group. Travis is married and resides and works in Pulaski County.

Hello, I’m Natasha Grider, I’m 21 years old and I am a spirit hunter. I have joined a great team of people I like to go find spirits with; or should I say get dragged along for the ride. I tend to be the scaredy cat of the bunch. We always have fun though.
I got interested in ghost hunting when I was young. I’ve always been one of these people that loved to get scared, and I’m a big fan of Ghost Hunters (they’re a big inspiration to me).

Missy is Granville’s wife and April’s sister.  She began joining us on investigations in March and has been an asset to the team since. What was that strange noise coming from those dark woods? Don’t worry. Missy already has a flashlight in tow and is heading that way to check it out. She remains calm and logical and this is a great help to KSH on investigations. She has a touch more skepticism than April or Granville which makes her a big help and asset to A-Jay, our number one skeptic. Missy and Granville have three children so it is not always possible for her to join us on every investigation but we are thankful for the ones that she can attend.

Chris is Granville’s brother and he helps us on investigations whenever he can and when we need him. There are times when other investigators have other agendas and cannot help us and it is at these times, that Granville and I are most grateful that Chris can jump up and help in a pinch.
