11-23-07 Cottongim Cemetery Pine Hill, KY

Kentucky Spirit Hunters conducted a four hour investigation of Cottongim Cemetery on November 23, 2007 from 4:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Cottongim Cemetery is located in Pine Hill, KY, which is between Mount Vernon and Livingston in Rockcastle County. We obtained permission from the owner of the property to conduct the investigation and were then led to the cemetery by Larry Tompkins, the brother of a close friend.

There had been many strange and unexplained things reported from this particular hill. Once the site of Civil War activity, there were claims of residual hauntings but the most prominent and unexplained occurrence was blue lights that came down the mountain, flying about 3 to 4 feet from the ground and travelling too fast to be anything human or animal. The lights have been told to zip and zoom down the mountain, flying fast and changing directions without warning.
