Okay, I have finally posted a private residence investigation from back in the summer. If the owners have been looking for the posting, I apologize. I have been very busy the last few months and time just got away from me.

As always, KSH only publishes evidence on the website if the owners have agreed to let the information be published. We continue to conduct private residence investigations as we are contacted for help and I will be publishing evidence from another private investigation just conducted recently very soon.

Over the next few months, Kentucky Spirit Hunters is focused on just private residence investigations including private businesses. Our team focus for right now is helping those individuals who believe they have paranormal activity in their home. As always, this service is free of charge.

As you can tell from the Investigation and Evidence categories, some of the material from there is from private residence investigations in the past. We want to stress that all cases are conducted confidentially with the client choosing whether or not they want the findings published.

Kentucky Spirit Hunters has three degrees of privacy that the client can choose from when asking us to conduct an investigation: Private, Semi-Private and Public.

In a Private Investigation, the client signs a confidentiality agreement with KSH that we will not talk about nor publicize any findings from the residence. We have conducted these before and they are never included on the website or in any public forum. The fact that the client asked us to conduct an investigation is known only to the client and the high trusted members conducting the investigation. Even members of KSH that could not attend the investigation are not debriefed on the details of the investigation. The client is given a copy of evidence found, if any and KSH keeps a copy of all paperwork and evidence files at the private office under access to only April Todd, founder of KSH.

A Semi-Private Investigation is like those found on the website. The client does not mind us showing the evidence found as long as the client’s name and location of the home or business is never disclosed. Any video or photographic evidence found that reveals something to link to the identity of the client is withheld from the website or any public forums. This includes pictures or videos that shows photos of the family or family members in the background or any clips that uses a member of the families name in conversation. This is the typical agreement that we have found that many of our clients are most comfortable with and have been the most pleased with. As with a Private Investigation, a copy of anything found is given to the client, free of charge and a hard copy is kept in the personal file at the KSH office.

A Public Investigation is any of those found on the website that do not fall into the other two above categories. It is either an investigation of a public place or an investigation of a home or business in which the client does not mind and actually encourages us to post any and all evidence found. Such is the case with Jailer’s Inn in Bardstown, for example.

The investigation time is always agreed upon by the client with KSH working with the client to meet their needs, first and always. KSH uses analog and digital cameras and camcorders along with a 4-way LED night vision infrared monitoring system to record any video or photographic evidence. We use tape recorders and digital audio recorders to conduct EVP (electronic voice phenomena) sessions to try to communciate with the spirits present. We use EMF detectors and compasses to get base readings and then decide if fluctuations in that reading are present. We are currently investing in a K2 meter to help us conduct better detections with the electromagnetic fields, as well.

KSH thought it necessary to include this post to explain to any potential clients the investigation process here at KSH and the reassurance of the client’s confidentiality as well as the fact that all investigations conducted by KSH are always free of charge. KSH is committed and dedicated to offering our services anytime a client is in need of help with the paranormal or reassurance as to whether or not there is paranormal activity in their home or business.

KSH can be contacted through the Contact Us forum and then the client will be responded to and given a phone number to call to actually speak with a member of the KSH team about their case. At this time, we are not posting our phone number as public but we answer the Contact Forum within 24 hours of sending.

We finally have our latest investigations up on the website after a couple months of struggles with everyone being so busy and the team changes and Christmas right around the corner.

The new investigations posted for viewing are Keno Bridge, Patterson Cemetery and a Lincoln County Private Residence. The investigations themselves and how they played out can be viewed under Investigations and the EVPs found can be listened to in our EVP Gallery. We do not have an visual evidence from any of these investigations but we remain hopeful that we can catch something of substance for our viewers on our future investigations. We watch and listen to all evidence closely and we only post evidence that we can conclude without a doubt as concrete evidence of the paranormal. If we, ourselves, have any doubt of the evidence as to whether it is paranormal in nature or not, then we do not post it.

We have had some recent team changes but I know that it is for the best. We have some members that are not in the group anymore and we wish them the best in all their pursuits.  Granville and I are working on some new approaches and strategies on investigations and the structure of the team. Hopefully, we will continue to grow and make KSH the name someone thinks of when they need assistance with anything paranormal.

I am currently updating the site with our recent investigations. I have the last trip we took to Soule’s Chapel on 7-5-08 up along with our investigation of Wilson Ridge Cemetery in Casey County on 8-2-08. I hope to have the Keno Bridge investigation on 8-31-08 posted by the end of the week so check back often! Included on this update are the reports on the actual investigations, EVPs captured at both locations and some photos from Wilson Ridge Cemetery. Photos from Soule’s Chapel and other EVPs from audio not yet reviewed will be added as soon as available.

I uploaded 2 files on Monday evening of the Private Residence Investigation in Rockcastle County, KY that had codec errors. Thankfully, this was caught within just a couple hours of the clips being uploaded and fixed so they are now available for viewing on hopefully all browsers. There were people on the website at the time and I apologize if you got the bad clips by mistake that would not play. Check out the great evidence we got from an investigation at a private residence in Rockcastle County, KY. We caught several EVPs along with a great video clip of a Shadow Man and some wonderful photos, one of which shows vapor forming and the other shows a partial apparition. You can see the outline of the head and torso.
